New Berlin, WI – (October 26, 2011) – Ever wonder what it takes to produce a highly successful outdoor TV show? Now is your chance to witness the magic! Sportsman Channel, the leader in outdoor TV for the American Sportsman, is excited to reveal the newest episode of Back Country Quest (BCQ) – “Behind the Scenes”, tonight, Wednesday, October 26.

BCQ receives numerous viewer emails inquiring how episodes are produced. Not only are hosts Chris and Casey Keefer allowing for viewer engagement during this special episode, but they also go into the music studios with Brandon Calhoon, composer and singer for the BCQ soundtrack.

“Out of all the viewer emails this season, the original music topic is by far the most popular inquiry,” said Chris Keefer, co-host of Back Country Quest.

“Behind the Scenes” also contains a social media element when the brothers read viewer’s questions live on Facebook while filming the episode. Viewers asked questions about the production facility and the overall production process. Chris and Casey are more than accommodating as they take viewers on a “Cribs-style” tour through Rusted Rooster Production Studio. Additionally, the show provides interview bloopers and shows how the team uses the green screen to create the show open.

“Our fans really appreciate how hard we work to create fresh, new content every year while always pushing creativity in our industry,” said Casey Keefer, co-host of Back Country Quest. “They recognized immediately the original music integration and continue to send emails commenting on the music side of the show.”

BCQ Behind the MusicApril 17th, 2011

by Team BCQ

Recorded in Plymouth, Michigan at Plymouth Rock Recording Co, the music and lyrics associated with the Television Series BackCountry Quest will be changed forever. With the strong voice and lyrical storytelling of Brandon Calhoon, known throughout the Detroit music scene as an intense performer and passionate musician.

Collaborations for this project began in February at the Production Studio with Casey, Chris, Jason and Brandon meeting and outlining the songs from Calhoon’s arsenal of original music that identified the most with the theme of the BCQ Series. These songs will now drive the Award winning outdoor series into its fourth season, airing on June 28th exclusively on Sportsman Channel.
